There are now 4 ways to apply for permanent residence as a caregiver through the following programs:

1. Interim Pathway for Caregivers (Applications for this program will only be accepted for only 3 months, from March 4, 2019 to June 4, 2019);

2. Caring for Children Program (Applications must be submitted prior to November 29, 2019, the scheduled end date for this program);

3. Caring for People with High Medical Needs Program (Applications must be submitted prior to November 29, 2019, the scheduled end date for this program); and

4. Live-in Caregiver Program (LCP) (This program is currently closed to new applicants).
