Start-Up Visa Programs

This is for entrepreneurs who are eligible for the Start-up Visa Program. You must meet all four (4) eligibility requirements;

1. You must have a qualifying business;

2. Have a letter of support from a designated organization;

3. Meet the language requirements; and

4. Have enough money to settle and live in Canada before you make money from your business.

The designated organizations are venture capital funds, angel investor groups and business incubator organizations. Successful applicants must secure a minimum investment and must be accepted into a Canadian business incubator program. Applicants are not required to invest any of their own money. Should the start-up fail to succeed, the applicant granted permanent residence through this program may retain their permanent residence.
